We started off in 2014 with the quest to help farmers increase profit and reduce wastage by starting an online marketplace for farmers.Setting off we realised that not all farmers are online and we need to bring solutions to them wherever they live; but on the contrary, the future farmers are the youths of today. They are well connected and can use the internet,therefore we began taking farm related problems to students at the universities and that gave birth to Farmhack NG. So far we have had 3 major hacks in 3 Universities, 9 winners so far and 2 companies are emerging so far while the third is trying to get thier solution right.We have gotten so much support from companies like Facebook, Major League Hacking and so many local organisations. We hope to be back again with the online marketplace to serve the well informed farmers of the future.
